About the hotel

A 19th century dockside hotel, just 5 km from Liverpool city centre and a 10 minute drive from the M57 and M62 or easily accessible by public transport.

The Regent Maritime Hotel was established in 1989 by the current owner, Roslyn Smith. It is a family-run business set in the industrial end of Bootle docks. A shuttle bus is available on request. With 20 rooms, some of which include en suite bathrooms, decorated with a modern finish. A 24-hour reception is available 7 days a week.

Breakfast is 3.50 GBP per head. A continental breakfast is served Monday to Friday from 06:00 to 09:00, Saturday and Sunday from 08:00 to 10:00.

A full English breakfast is served Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 09:00,
Saturday and Sunday from 08:00 to 10:00.

Guests can relax in our bar and lounge area, watch TV and enjoy our in-house restaurant, which serves tasty lunches and delicious evening meals, at an affordable cost.

Room information

The Regent Maritime Hotel's ground floor has been refurbished for your comfort. There are 20 very comfortable rooms, each with a hairdryer, tea/coffee making facilities, central heating, internet access points and a colour TV. However, due to the hotel position, some rooms have limited reception. There is Sky TV in the lounge.

There is limited number of en suite rooms. Other rooms share a bathroom with one or 2 more rooms. Toiletries can be purchased in the reception.

- From the M62, take the ring road and follow signs for Bootle Docks.

By Public Transport:
Liverpool city centre - Lime Street Station connecting to the Northern Line. Take a train from Liverpool Central Station towards Southport, alighting at Bootle Oriel Road (4th stop), on the 9 minute journey.

On the Liverpool bus service, bus 87 stops at the top of the street, and is a 3 minute walk away. It is 5 minutes on the bus to the city centre.

A taxi from the city to the hotel is about GBP 3.50 in a private hire, GBP 5.50 in a Hackney cab.
